Our Story: A Journey Rooted in Passion and Excellence

Chris’s passion for customer service began at the tender age of 16, when he spent his summer holidays working in the renowned Nelson Mandela Hotel in Cape Town, South Africa. Serving iconic figures like David Bowie, Chris quickly learned what it meant to deliver 5-star service and became known as the legendary doorman of Soho. 

In 1990, Chris moved back to London and embarked on a diverse career—from high-end retail at Alexander McQueen to managing door operations at a variety of venues, including trendy nightclubs, festivals, and private events. Along the way, he met Heidi, and what started as a friendship soon blossomed into a professional partnership and marriage. Together, they created NN Security with a shared mission: to provide exceptional service and a safe environment for both clients and guests.

After 15 years of marriage and the birth of their son, Noah, the inspiration for the "NN" in NN Security, Chris and Heidi have built a trusted business that combines their years of experience in hospitality, security, and customer care.
